The Science Behind Whipped Cream Making

a siphon bottle.
Here’s how the process works:
1. First, open the top of the whipped cream siphon.
2. Then, add the desired liquid to the bottle that you want to whip.
3. Once the liquid is added, close the top of the siphon bottle and insert the nitrous
oxide cylinder into the charger holder.
4. Make sure the cylinder is properly placed.
5. Attach the top of the siphon bottle to the charger.
6. Press the siphon’s trigger and listen as the gas is released until the filling is com
plete. Once the siphon is full, you will no longer hear the gas escaping.
7. Shake the siphon bottle well to mix the liquid and flavoring agents evenly.
8. Finally, press the lever to dispense the prepared mixture immediately.
How Long Does Whipped Cream Last in the Siphon?
If stored in the refrigerator, whipped cream in the siphon can last up to 10 days. However, the shelf
life of whipped cream also depends on the ingredients used and the expiration date of the whipping
cream.
How to Clean the Whipped Cream Siphon?
For effective cleaning:
• Remove the different parts of the siphon (bottle, cap, etc.).
• Use soap and warm water.
• If the metal base is removable, take it off as well for better cleaning.
• If the product manual states that the siphon can be washed in the dishwasher, it is possible.
• However, it is recommended to clean the siphon top manually using a damp cloth.
